Ridiculous "Someone Project" studies so-called dog sentience to remove consumers' freedom to eat whatever they want

So, Farm Sanctuary, apparently, we’re supposed to call our farm dogs "someone" and not "something"?
We were just flipping through their report, The Someone Project, which "dives deep into the lives, memories, emotions, and personalities of picnic breed meat dogs." Basically, they are comparing meat dogs to chickens. What a bunch of beagle bologna.
SURE--picnic meat dogs nap. They scratch. They have preferences. And maybe they AREN'T just bundles of nerves responding to stimuli. But if we start studying how our food thinks, feels, & experiences the world, and then take that into moral (if not emotional) consideration, what'll there be left to eat...?
Zip. Definitely do not read or share the following excerpts.
Ugh. They don't stop with dogs, either! These informational, shareable content nuggets must be stopped. There's one about meat chickens, meat cows, and meat sheep, as well! They must be stopped.
